On the evening of 2026, month 7, day 16 at 19 local time, jointly organized by TEIDE Education Group and Spain's renowned Sant Lluc Arts CenterThe "Maritime Silk Road: 2026 Sino-Western Art Exhibition" officially opens at Sant Lluc in Barcelona.

Mr. Hu Aimin, Vice Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Barcelona; Mr. Wang Jinwei, Chinese Dean of the Barcelona Confucius Institute Foundation; Mr. Jin Hao, President of the Spanish Federation of Overseas Chinese Chambers of Commerce; Mr. Guillem, Secretary-General of the Board of Directors of St. Luke's Art Center; and Mr. Liang Ran, Chairman of the Ted Education Group.The launch ceremony was attended by numerous guests from China and the United States, including leaders in art, education, and business.
Twin cities collaborate to write a new chapter in the art of the Maritime Silk Road
This joint exhibition aims to build bridges across geographical divides through art.
Ted Education Group Chairman Mr. Liang Ran introduced in his opening remarks that the exhibition launched its call for entries earlier this year and held a grand kickoff ceremony at Beijing Jintai Art Museum.The event invited renowned artist and Director of the Jin Tai Art Museum, Mr. Yuan Xikun, as Chief Advisor. A joint review panel comprising experts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the St. Luke's Art Center curated the selected works over several months.

At the opening ceremony, videos produced by the Spanish Embassy in China were screened, including "The Maritime Silk Road" and a compilation of the Sino-Spanish Art Exhibition.Vividly recreated the rich history of cultural and trade exchange between China and Western nations, while outlining the extraordinary journey of this "Maritime Silk Road" art selection for all guests.

Strong Partnership: Ted International High School's "St. Luke Campus" Officially Opens
In his address, Mr. Liang Ran highlighted Ted Education's rapid growth over the past two years. Since acquiring Ted School two years ago, the group has introduced IB and Chinese language programs, launched the Liceu music initiative, and fully renovated campus facilities, officially rebranding it as Ted International School. Student enrollment has surged by 50% in just two years, with our lower and secondary divisions now operating at full capacity.Today, the local government officially approved and supported the construction of the new high school building. The on-site translator was the architect who designed it.

Marking the opening of this event, Mr. Liang Ran solemnly announces:
The "Tate International Art High School Program," launched in deep collaboration with Tate St. Luke's Arts Centre, is now officially underway.
The Saint Luke campus will officially open on 9/10 this year. Housed in a historic medieval palace that once nurtured art legends like Gaudí, Miró, and Picasso, it offers A-Level courses taught in Chinese, English, and Spanish, allowing students to grow within a rich artistic and historical environment.

Guillem, Secretary of the Board at Saint Luke's Art Center, delivered remarks on behalf of the host.Mr. Gilem stated that the St. Luke's Art Center, with over 130 years of history, has always been dedicated to connecting different cultures and eras through art.He is extremely pleased with the results of his collaboration with Ted and extends sincere congratulations to all the award-winning young artists.

Fulfilling Social Responsibility: Cross-Border Charity Sale of Artworks by Hearing-Impaired Children in Tibet
While advancing its international education initiatives, Ted Group is also actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. According to reports, the group has established a holding company in Hong Kong and launched joint educational programs in Beijing, Shanghai, and Kunshan, Jiangsu.

This exhibition features a special charity art section showcasing artworks by deaf children in Lhasa, Tibet, created through the "Art Lights Up Dreams" initiative of the Beijing HeGuang Charity Foundation.These works will be auctioned after their exhibition at St. Luke's in Barcelona, with all proceeds donated to charitable programs supporting more children with hearing impairments.

Mr. Xu Hang of Beijing He Guang Public Welfare Foundation delivered a keynote speech on how artistic creation can empower children with hearing impairments.Mr. Liang Ran announced that Mr. Xu Hang has officially joined the TED Education Group and will be fully responsible for the group's philanthropy initiatives and the management of TED International Art Institution.

Mr. Jin Hao, President of the Spanish Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, spoke from the perspective of grassroots exchanges and the social responsibilities of chambers of commerce.Highly praised the joint exhibition's role as a bridge in fostering friendship between China and the West, and called on more business leaders to join future cultural philanthropy initiatives.
Art salons reflect official aspirations.
During the salon sharing session, renowned artists Shun Yang, Rosa Solano, and Núria Rossell took the stage.Share insights on art exchange between China and Spain by three artists. In the future, Yang Shun and other artists will also serve as art mentors at Tate International High School alongside artists from the San Lucas Art Center.

In her address, Ms. Wang Jinwei, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute Foundation in Barcelona, expressed hopeful expectations for Sino-Spanish language teaching and cross-cultural exchange.Mr. Liang Ran revealed that the TED Chongqing office is currently developing a Chinese language textbook for Spanish speakers, using comics and animation as the medium. Upon publication, it will be shared with all sectors of society.

Deputy Consul General Hu Aimin of the Chinese Consulate General in Barcelona delivered a keynote address on behalf of the Consulate.He highly commended the significant achievements made by both countries in culture and philanthropy within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the West.Vice Consul Hu Aimin mentioned thatTwo years ago, he presented Ted with an award for promoting cultural exchange between China and Spain on behalf of the Consulate General. Today, seeing that Ted has grown from a single school into a well-established education group, these achievements are both gratifying and highly meaningful.
In the subsequent exhibition tour, Mr. Liang Ran guided guests through the campus and exhibition halls.Guests not only admired the outstanding works in this joint exhibition but also had the rare opportunity to view authentic Miró paintings, Gaudí's original models for the Sagrada Família, and manuscripts from Casa Batlló at the Saint Luke Gallery, gaining a profound appreciation of Barcelona's rich artistic heritage.
