Zhenyifang Creativity Art Study Tour and Exhibition Held Successfully at Tate
Recently, the Sant Lluc showroom of TED International School welcomedExhibition of 18 outstanding artworks from Beijing Zhenyifang Art InstitutionThe exhibition runs from 2/1 to 2/8. It has not only garnered significant attention from the local art community but also established a new bridge for artistic exchange between Chinese and Western youth.
Opening Ceremony
On 2 3, at the exhibition opening, Liang Ran, Chairman of TED School, praised the students' artwork from Zhen Yi Fang in his welcome address: "The students' works are highly innovative. I hope some of them will go on to become art masters like Picasso or Miró. Art creation is not just about pushing the boundaries of the work itself, but also about breaking through one's own limits."This exhibition is not only an exchange of art, but also a collision and fusion of cultures.。”
In his remarks, Sant Lluc Headmaster Xano Armenter emphasized thatArt is a medium that transcends language and crosses borders.connecting people from diverse cultural backgrounds. He stated, "I hope more young Chinese students will come here in the future to experience the power of art and exchange ideas with artists in Barcelona. This not only fosters personal artistic growth but also makes a significant contribution to cultural integration."
In her speech, Ni Xue, principal of Zhenyifang, encouraged students to cherish this opportunity.Innovate boldly and explore new forms of artistic expressionShe stated, "This is more than an exhibition; it's a chance to challenge ourselves. We hope this experience will help broaden artistic horizons, boost confidence, and inspire everyone to discover their unique creative style."
Surrealist Sketching Course Experience
After the opening ceremony, students participated in a surrealist drawing workshop led by renowned Spanish artist Llorenç. At the start of the session, Mr. Llorenç introduced the core concepts of surrealism and showcased several representative works to spark creative inspiration. He encouraged students to break free from traditional artistic conventions and unleash their imagination.
During the creative process, students experimented with unique painting techniques to blend reality and imagination, resulting in works that reflect their individual styles. In the critique session, Mr. Llorenç emphasized:Drawing is an act of decision-making, just like life.。”
He also emphasized that all shared information is not artistic truth, a final method, or the purpose of art itself. What he will provide are fundamental techniques for the portrait-painting process—tools to be understood and used as such. We can use them not only to create beautiful portraits but also to explore ourselves and our own "way of painting" more deeply.We don't just "draw" reality with lines—we can also create a reality beyond the page with our thoughts, feelings, and decisions.
The speech deeply inspired the students, giving them a fresh perspective on artistic creation and boosting their confidence to express themselves more boldly.
Cross-Cultural Exchange and Interaction
Beyond art exhibitions and hands-on courses, True Art Academy students engaged in diverse cultural exchange activities with peers from TED International School. At school, both groups learned fun Spanish together.Enhanced understanding of the Spanish language and culture through engaging interactive games and conversation practice.During the course, students not only mastered practical everyday phrases but also deepened their understanding of Spanish culture.
During recess, students participated in Spanish football activities, further strengthening their friendships. Many Chinese students expressed that they deeply felt the warmth and friendliness of their Spanish peers.
Culinary Experiences & Cultural Immersion
During lunchtime, students experienced the offerings of TED International SchoolLunch prepared by Javier, a Michelin three-star chef, with authentic spaghetti tomato sauce becoming a beloved favorite. In addition to the main course, Chef Harvey also prepared cheesecake for students to welcome them.
Certificate Issuance
Nuria, Principal of TED International School, delivered a speech to all students participating in the exhibition and study tour, then presented each student with a certificate of completion to recognize their efforts and achievements in the art exchange.She encouraged students to continue exploring the world of art and constantly improve themselves.Additionally, we hope to welcome more Chinese students to this cross-cultural exchange platform in the future.

During their study tour in Barcelona, students from Zhenyifang visitedFundació Joan Miró, Dalí Museum, Picasso Museum, Sagrada Família, Casa Milà, and Casa BatllóVisit world-renowned cultural and artistic landmarks. During the tour, students attentively listen to guides, admire masterpieces by renowned artists, and jot down their reflections on-site.
This exhibition and educational program not only provided students with invaluable artistic insights but also strengthened cultural exchange between Chinese and Western youth. The journey broadened their creative thinking and fostered deep cross-cultural friendships. With smiles on their faces, this unforgettable educational trip concluded successfully.
